Bio
Dr. Jihun Cho is a pianist and music instructor with extensive experience teaching at Catholic schools. She previously taught at the University of San Diego. Dr. Cho earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin, where she also studied Music Education. She holds dual master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Dr. Cho’s research, “Cross-Cultural Teaching in the Piano Studio,” was published in the MTNA e-Journal. She has presented her work at major international conferences, including the International Society for Music Education (ISME) Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece, as well as conferences in Madison and Irvine. She has also served as an adjudicator for several music competitions in San Diego and Madison, Wisconsin.
