Age Requirement for Private Lessons

Lessons are available for following instruments

  • Piano: Ages 5 and up (Enlightenment class before 5)

  • Cello: Ages 6 and up (Before or alongside piano lessons recommanded)

  • Violin: Ages 4 and up (Suzuki) or 6 and up (No Suzuki)

  • Viola: Ages 7 and up (With violin foundation better)

  • Flute: Age 7 and up

  • Children Flute: Age 5 and up

  • Clarinet/Saxophone: Age 10 and up

  • Bassoon: Age 12 and up

  • Music Theatre: Age 5 and up

  • Voice - Pop: Ages 5 and up

  • Voice  - Classical: Ages 10 and up

  • Ukulele: Ages 5 and up

  • Guitar - Acoustic: Ages 7 and up

  • Guitar - Electric: Ages 10 and up

  • Drum: Ages 4 and up

  • Bass Guitar: Ages 10 and up

 

Lesson Durations:

  • 30 Minutes: Ages 5-7 or Starters

  • 45 Minutes: Ages 8 and up or Intermediates

  • 60 Minutes: Ages 12 to Adults or for Exam/Competition Preparation

Recital and Performance Fee Structures

1. Recital at School:

No tickets, no donation.

2. Bi-Monthly Recital at Local Library or Community Center:

RSVP, No tickets for customers. 

3. Semester Recital at Concert Hall, Central Library/University Auditorium or Church:

Tickets will be selling to all audience to cover the rental, labor cost, equipment, stage management and marketing fee. There will be photo and video service available for purchase too. Donations are welcome to support our teacher and staff. 

4. Competition & Award Concert:

  • Competition Application Fee

  • Tickets of Concert

  • Extra Accompany Fee

  • Photo & Video Service Fee

  • Piano Accompaniment Service Fee

  • Green Room Service Fee

  • Master Class Tuition

5. Charity Performance

Tickets and donations are for charity purpose.

6. Accompaniment Fee

  • Starter Level: The piano accompaniment is usually free if it's accompanied by your teacher, or by other teachers of the school. We can help find advance student to accompany and please tip. 

  • Intermediate Level: We suggest you find a good accompaniment if it's a serious performance or exam/competition. The cost is around $100-200. It's usually includes one rehearsal and one formal accompaniment. 

  • Advanced Level: Accompaniment is very very important for your success of performance. Find someone is professionally trained for accompaniment and pay well to him/her. It's worthy!
