Bio

Cameron Clements is a versatile saxophonist, educator, and audio engineer whose career bridges jazz and commercial performance, classical performance, arts education, and more.

 

Based in San Diego, Clements maintains an active performing schedule through his work as a sideman, bandleader, and soloist, and operates a private studio as well as teaches within multiple San Diego–area middle and high school music programs.

 

Additionally, he holds a faculty position in Saxophone at Point Loma Nazarene University. Prior to his freelance career, Clements served in the U.S Navy Fleet Bands as a saxophonist and audio engineer where he performed public concerts, gave music clinics, provided music for military ceremonies, and toured around the country both as a classical and jazz saxophonist, as well as a live sound engineer (A1/A2).

 

Cameron earned Bachelor’s degrees in Music Education and in Saxophone Performance from Louisiana State University, as well as a Master’s in Music from Baylor University in Saxophone Performance.

Cameron teaches Tuesday and Wednesday evening at Belle Melodie Music.
