Bio

Tracey Singer is a multi-genre singer, pianist, composer, and teacher. His experience in multiple areas of music gives him the insights to not only teach students the best techniques and skills, but also how to present those skills to audiences through live performances and the creation of videos.

Tracey has performed live shows all across the country. At the shows, he plays piano and sings songs ranging from musical theatre, pop, jazz, and original songs he has composed. He sometimes performs these shows with his family, including his wife and 4 children, who all sing. He has won several awards for writing and performing his original children’s album Sweets ‘n’ Treats, including the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. He recently finished writing the music & lyrics for the rock/pop musical The Lucky Break. He is also a published composer of choral music.

In addition, Tracey is the Artistic Director and Resident Composer for the U.S. All-National Choir, whose videos have combined to receive nearly a million views. Tracey began studying classical piano as a young child and began taking voice lessons as a teen. He majored in Vocal Music Performance at Gonzaga University, where his focus was on singing Classical Opera.

As a teacher, he combines the methods he has learned studying classical music with his experience directing and performing musical theatre and pop, to give his students an all-around music education about using proper technique, understanding music theory, and what it takes to be a great performer.
